10:00am -- Mayor Daley announced some manner of affordable housing plan at Sanctuary Place [3]. We should know more in a few days.

"If we're leading the way, God help the rest of the country. I feel sorry for them. You wonder what has happened to public education [7] in the rest of those cities."
"You know he, I believe, has a very open mind. I think that that's good. I think it's good for the democratic process. And I think that it will be a very spirited campaign."
