What is this Willis Tower you speak of?
Formerly Sears Tower. I know sometimes these name changes can get to people, but buildings don't have feelings.
Dear Willis,
I know things have been a little strange around the apartment since the operation. I'm sorry I went out for chinese last night and didn't invite you to come along. Don't take it personally, I just wasn't thinking and probably wanted some alone time to think things through about "us."
It's just, while I know you're the same inside, you're the same tower I fell in love with years ago, it's going to take me a while to get used to the fact that you look a little different now. Your bits are different and you've got a new name. You've got to understand it's been tough for me. I'm a pretty traditional kind of guy. For a while I wondered if I was the kind of man who could love a tower named "Willis." You've got to admit the whole thing's kind of freaky.
But I want to let you know that after seeing this video, and seeing how the view from upstairs really hasn't changed, even if the trappings have, I've decided that even if I'm not that guy, I want to try to be him, for the sake of our relationship. I'm writing to let you know I want to make this work. We can do this.
