I work for a general contractor in Chicago in estimating and project management. I've got an engineering degree and a masters in Construction Management, both from IIT. I live in Bronzeville and hoped we would get the Olympics so that my property value might have increased and I could rent my place out for a tidy sum. Now that that has not happened, however, I am looking to become more active in the neighborhood. It feels like it ought to be a prime area for development of the non-fast-food type, and I hope to eventually help affect such forward change. Other than that, I am a staunch libertarian, and blog at Organized Exploitation, and am the Cook County Libertarian Examiner offering my views on local, state and national issues.
