About Sandi
Sandi's Bio
Sandi Villarreal is the former Managing Editor for the Windy Citizen. Born and raised in San Antonio, Sandi graduated with a B.A. in journalism and political science from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
She has interned at the Associated Baptist Press, working both in the Jacksonville, Fla., and Washington, D.C. offices.
Sandi also spent a year working for Lee Enterprise's Suburban Journals of Greater St. Louis before deciding to pursue a graduate degree. She graduated with an M.S. in Journalism, New Media from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism and moved to St. Louis where her husband is finishing up his master's.
