Andy graduated from the University of Iowa with an English degree. His love for all things electric came out of necessity. After taking apart and breaking nearly every television and computer in his parents’ house he was forced to fix them. The rest is history. In an effort to carve out a slice of the internet for Chicago based tech enthusiasts (nerds) he started writing for the Tech Loop. When he isn’t making fun of Blake for his unhealthy attachment to the Mac brand, you can find Andy playing bocce ball or stuck on some form of Chicago Transportation. He currently lives in Uptown and misses his Chocolate Lab – Pantoufle.
