I moved to the Chicago area about two months ago to start graduate school at Northwestern. So far, so good. I live in the Uptown area and spend a lot of my mornings running along the lake before heading up to Evanston. While I absolutely love running and have completed seven marathons to-date, I’m not one of those high-tech, plugged-in runners. I never listen to music outside. I don’t have a GPS. And I don’t have a strict schedule where I’m committed to doing 10 x 200 meters at the local track every second Thursday of the month. When not running, I can probably be found doing one of the following: writing stories for school, reading about current events, commuting, or drinking wine.
