Mark Fontecchio is originally from Townsend, Mass. He now lives with his wife Bea and son Matthew in the South Loop. He got his bachelor's in English from The University of Vermont and his master's in journalism from Boston University. He has worked as a copy editor for The Portsmouth Herald and as a reporter for two suburban Boston newspapers, The Woburn Advocate and The Patriot Ledger, winning awards from the New England Press Association and other back-patters along the way.
He is now a reporter for TechTarget, an IT media company, writing about the exciting world of servers and data centers. He's not being tongue-in-cheek when he says it's exciting. He really likes it.
