Good morning, everyone. Today, it's scheduled to be another hot day. Here is crime for today.

5:27AM - Domestic disturbance. 1620 N Springfield. Boyfriend took the complaint's keys and won't give them back. Note: This location has ALOT of history.

6:20AM - I have to go. I'll be back later.

9:00AM - I'm back. It turns out the bus didn't come again. Anyway, Beat car 2504 is heading to Mozart Elementary.

9:46AM - Disturbance. 2338 N Monticello. Guys drinking.

9:52AM - The original back-up car for the 9:46am job, 2522, is being given a disregard by Beat 2506Charlie. They're with the assigned car, 2525.

10:09AM - Disturbance. 2965 N Milwaukee. Several people are drinking on the bank's property.

10:34AM - Robbery in progress. 1627 N Pulaski. At Walgreens (I've looked at the street view map on Google dozens of time of that address and there is no Walgreens there). At knife-point. Employees and manager fighting with the robbers.

10:36AM - 1) Now they're holding the 10:34am offender. The manager and two men holding the guy. 2) A slow down is given on the 10:34am job. Officers have one in custody.

10:40AM - Battery in progress. 4100 W Fullerton. Three males in tanktops beating one. Now they're running west.

11:41AM - EMS run. 2945 N Ridgeway. Male having a hard time breathing.

12:05PM - I don't know what to call this job, but anyway, 10 male Hispanics are chasing people with screw drivers, someone's going to get a gun and general choas on the street. Location is Cortland and Springfield.

12:11PM - A slow down is given on the 12:05pm job. Beat car 2546 asks if there was a call from the school nearby. That's a negative, according to dispatch. 2546 says he'll drive around to see if anything comes up.

12:18PM - Person down. Milwaukee and Hamlin. Male sleeping on the sidewalk.

12:36PM - Assist the citizen. 3924 W Wellington. Complaint needs help getting belongings from sister.

12:37PM - Beat 2562Boy asks if there's a call for a accident at Fullerton and Harding. Dispatch says yes. A paper car is assigned.

12:43PM - Beat car 2544 asks for a call back on the 12:36pm job. Dispatch called them back, but the complaint already got their stuff and left.

12:54PM - Battery in progress. 2980 N Milwaukee. Sounds like two males are going at it.

1:09PM - An RD number has been pulled on the 12:37pm job. It's HR390565 with the event number of 08871.

1:22PM - Domestic Battery. 2223 N Hamlin. Complaint was beaten up by the boyfriend.

1:49PM - Domestic disturbance(?). 3606 W Cortland. Female threw a knife out of a window.

1:53PM - Check the well being. 2820 N Lawndale. Complaint's vehicle and girlfriend are missing. She was cleaning out the garage earlier. I think she just took the car for a ride.

2:01PM - Fire. 4427 W Altgeld. Car. 

2:14PM - Battery in progress. 2134 N Hamlin. Group of teens jumping on a girl.

2:19PM - Domestic disturbance. 1609 N Avers. Something about the child.

3:07PM - Battery in progress. 3060 N Avers. Landlord VS nephew.

3:19PM - Backlog is put into 25. 15:19 hours.

3:20PM - 1) Fireworks. Lawndale and Wolfram. 2) Assault. 1620 N Springfield. 3) Disturbance. 1707 N Harding. Group of five guys drinking and bothering people.

3:27PM - The 3:07pm job is coded 19Paul because they're all drunk. They promise to stop hitting each other.

3:32PM - Domestic disturbance. 2330 N Avers. Problem with the sister-in-law.

3:46PM - 1) Lawndale and Wolfram is coded 19P. 2) There's some kind of job at 3607 W Fullerton.

3:52PM - Burglary in progress. 1700 or 1701 N Harding. Two males breaking in, hollering on an open line and the complaint(s) attempting to hold the offender.

4:16PM - Assault in progress. 2422 N Harding. 8 to 10 females outside threatening the complaint and the mother.

4:18PM - Beat 2506AB on views a domestic at Cortland and Harding.

4:20PM - More action at the Walgreens at 1627 N Pulaski. A call of a Battery came in there. A "Holding The Offender" ticket also came in over there.

4:21PM - Beat car 2506AB needs a transport car and an ambulance. I wonder what happened.

4:26PM - Robbery. Armitage and Pulaski. Brown car with a plate of H736975 that took off south on Pulaski with a male Hispanic, white t-shirt, black pants and white gym shoes just robbed the complaint of their jewelry.

4:38PM - Reckless driver. Wellington and Pulaski. Light blue Chevy is being driven by a female White that may be drunk.

4:46PM - Domestic disturbance. 3625 W Shakespeare. Father is pounding on the door, trying to get in. He's hurt the complaint's child before and the complaint fears he'll do it again.

5:07PM - 1) Child left alone. 3850 W Diversey. Complaint walked a 1 yr old and 3 yr old home, but when they arrived, no parents were found. 2) Parker. On 2523's beat.

5:22PM - Open fire hydrant. Belden and Springfield.

5:25PM - Beat 2523 asks for a call back on the 5:07pm job. The caller left with the kids after being cussed out by their father and having the door slammed in their face. Coded 19P.

5:31PM - Person with a knife. 2990 N Milwaukee. Intoxicated male is threatening to kill people if the police don't show up by 5:36pm.

5:39PM - Beat car 2523 asks for a call back on the 5:31pm job.

5:40PM - Beat 2523's call back is going to voice mail.

5:47PM - 1) Disturbance. Wrightwood and Pulaski. Kids throwing water at passing cars as a result of an open hydrant. 2) Parker. 2527 N Lawndale. Chevy Monte Carlo.

5:59PM - Assault. 3850 W Fullerton. Elderly female was threatened by another female.

6:22PM - 1) Vice complaint. Milwaukee and Ridgeway. Male White, brown and blue shirt with brown shorts drinking at the bus stop and cursing at people. 2) Suspicious person. 4108 W Wellington. Two cars have their engines raving in the garage. They're also paying loud music.

6:32PM - Gang disturbance. Springfield and Belden.

6:35PM - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

6:51PM - I'm back from eating.

7:04PM - Beat car 2548 is reporting an open hydrant on the 2400 block of N Ridgeway.

7:09PM - Another open hydrant at Wrightwood and Tripp.

7:11PM - Gang disturbance. 2401 N Ridgeway. Two male Hispanics in white t-shirts flashing signs.

7:14PM - Domestic disturbance. 2307 N Ridgeway. 17 yr old brother locked the complaint out.

7:21PM - Disturbance. 4300 W Wrightwood. Citizen splashing water on passing cars.

7:24PM - Beat 2566Adam needs someone with a PDT at the 7:14pm job.

7:32PM - Female White, dark hair and a badge top is walking through the park, looking for a drug dealer(s). Location is Koz Park (2732 N. Avers).

7:37PM - Disturbance. 2818 N Springfield. In a four door black van, males are throwing beer bottles onto the complant's lawn.

7:40PM - Suspicious vehicle. Schubert and Harding. Something about a four door green van.
