Good morning, everyone. It's 12:01am. Anyway, today is supposed to be a sunny day. It won't be as hot as it has been. Also, tomorrow, my cable is being taken in since we're turning it off. The internet may also be turned off (don't panic yet, everyone. We're going to try our very best to work out a deal), but we'll see what happens. Lastly, today is my last day off from school. I return to school tomorrow for 4 weeks. Here is crime for today.

12:02AM - Parker. 2900 block of W Lyndale. Premits.

12:08AM - Shots fired. 2534 W Cortland. Dispatch says it's fireworks. Yeah, right.

12:10AM - Shots fired. 2523 N Sacramento. One heard followed by a car alarm.

12:12AM - Battery in progress. George and Whipple. Male has thrown a female out of a car twice. She's yelling and rolling in the street.

12:13AM - A slow down is being given on the 12:10am job. Then, it's coded 19Paul. Officer claims it's fireworks.

12:17AM - A slow down is being given on the 12:12am job. The offending vehicle is a white Chevy Malbu or Cheviler. It fled towards Diversey on Whipple. The woman could be heard yelling in the background. I hope she's ok..

12:19AM - Gang disturbance. 1733 N Talman. There's four of them flashing signs.

12:20AM - Person down. 3209 W Armitage. Male in his 30s is layed out on the sidewalk. He's unresponsive.

12:21AM - Disturbance. 2956 W Logan. Loud party on the 1.

12:24AM - Shots fired. 1600 block of N Spaulding. There's a loud party on the west side of the street. Caller suspects the gunfire came from there.

12:27AM - A slow down is being given on the 12:24am job.

12:31AM - Disturbance. 3000 block of W Fletcher. Loud outside party.

12:34AM - DUI driver. 2712 W St Helen. A white car just hit the house.

12:40AM - Beat car 1442 gets a selling on the PDT.

12:41AM - Disturbance. 2441 N Albany. Another loud party.

12:43AM - Shots fired. Again at 1600 N Spaulding. Two heard.

12:44AM - Burglar alarm. 1734 N Winchester. Resident motion. This call also came in as a Burglary. Male White, shaven head and t-shirt just broke into the garage then fled down the alley.

12:49AM - Suspicious vehicle. 1800 block of N Marshfield. Complaint says there has been alot of car burglaries in the area, so when a male ran into a red car, possibly a Lincoln Townhouse, after seeing the complaint, they say it's suspicious. The person fled southbound in the car with no lights on.

12:51AM - Wanted from the 12:44am job is a male White, 25-30 yrs old, 5'10 and dark t-shirt. He's about 175-180 pounds.

12:54AM - An RD number has been pulled from the 12:34am job. It's HR399270 with the event number of 00538.

1:00AM - I need to go do a couple of other things before I head to bed. Good night, everyone.

8:31AM - I'm back. Good morning.

8:58AM - At 09:10 hours, an outdoor roll call will be held at North and Campbell.

9:02AM - Alarm. 2640 N Albany. General motion.

9:08AM - A person has called from the 9:02am job to cancel the police. The alarm was shut off. Dispatch still has to have a cop go check it out because of their policy.

9:10AM - Criminal trespass in progress. 3417 W Armitage. Squatters are everywhere in the rehabbed building.

9:16AM - Domestic disturbance. 1844 N Kedzie. Problem with the boyfriend who locked the complaint out.

9:18AM - Theft. Kedzie and Armitage. Male Black, white t-shirt, blue jeans and white gym shoes just stole the complaint's wallet.

9:22AM - The 9:18am offender is in his early 20s. He's got short hair. He stuck something hard, possibly a gun, into the complaint's back. Isn't this a robbery then? Anyway, the offender fled southbound in the west alley of.

9:27AM - Parker. 1821 N Washtenaw. A red car is blocking the alley. This is an on-going problem, according to the complaint.

9:28AM - 1) An RD number has been pulled on the 9:18am job. It's HR399628 with the event number of 06335. 2) Parker. 2334 N Campbell. White Ford blocking the driveway.

9:29AM - 1) Car alarm. 3001 N Central Park. An alarm on a car has been going off since 07:30 hours [7:30am]. 2) Vice complaint. 3012 N Sawyer. Male drinking behind the complaint's garage.

9:32AM - There was nothing in the 9:18am vitcim's wallet. A barber shop owner over there says that the offender can be spotted alot in the area.

9:33AM - Beat 1407Boy asks for an event number for the "Back To The Streets" mission. It's 06491.

9:34AM - Beat cars 1414 and 1446 are heading to 1900 N Sawyer to possibly find the 9:18am offender.

9:37AM - The person at 1900 N Sawyer says that everyone left. The location is some sort of group home.

9:41AM - Beat 1411 is on a stop at Armitage and Sawyer. Running an ID.

9:45AM - Beat car 1411's ID comes back clear.

9:51AM - Traffic accident. Kimball and Barry. Pace bus VS SUV.

9:52AM - Panic alarm. 2136 W Moffat.

9:55AM - An ambulance is needed at the 9:51am job. Male is having chest pains.

9:57AM - The 9:52am job is coded 14Paul.

9:59AM - Beat 1434 gets a parker on the PDT.

10:00AM - Beat car 1431 has a handwaver at Shakespeare and Campbell.

10:05AM - EMS run. 2319 N Drake.

10:19AM - Alarm. 2165 N Western. Front door motion.

10:25AM - Beat 1433 is doing a park check at Holestin.

10:50AM - Disturbance. 3507 W Schubert. Drunk tenant bothering others.

10:53AM - They're calling back on the 9:52am job. Complaint stated they're having problems with the alarm.

11:13AM - Alarm. 2206 W Dickens. General motion.

11:15AM - An ambulance is needed at the 10:50am job. Subject had too much to drink.

11:18AM - Domestic disturbance. 3539 W Belmont. Complaint wanted the boyfriend out. The phone was taken from the complaint.

11:19AM - Now the 11:18am job comes in as "Person calling for help". Complaint needs police. Had the phone taken away again.

11:22AM - A slow down is given on the 11:18/11:19am jobs.

11:30AM - I forgot the details on the job, but the address is 1952 N Damen.

11:31AM - Battery. 2430 to 2461 W North. Complaint witnessed a bar owner get punched. He fell to the ground.

11:32 to 11:38AM - My mom and I heard a possible gunshot. We switched the radio to Zone 12 to see if any calls came in. No calls came in.

11:51AM - The 10:50am job is coded 19Paul. Ambulance 52 took the vitcim to a hospital.

11:52AM - They're calling back on the 11:18/11:19am jobs.

11:56AM - Assault. Milwaukee and Logan. By the statue in the park. A female's pitbull just attacked someone.

11:58 to 12:00PM - Multiple calls are coming in at 3539 W Belmont. Assault in progress, Assault, domestic disturbance, etc. This is getting silly.

12:03PM - The 11:56am job is coded 19Paul. The vitcim was a 12 yr old. Police would've done a report, but everyone involved has left the scene.

12:04PM - Assault in progress. 2419 W Fullerton. Man is trying to attack the complaint.

12:22PM - There was a job at 1704 W Wabansia.

12:24PM - Officer claims there is not a 1704 on Wabansia.

12:26PM - Assault in progress. Elston/Western/Diversey. In the Cosko lot. Two males arguing over a parking space. Someone's picked up a tire iron. Note: Cosko is not in 14. It's in the 19th district. However, the ticket was sent over to 14 for some strange reason. Officers think this might be happening in the CVS lot. Dispatch is checking with Zone 2  (19th district) regarding this job.

12:30PM - Beat car 1434 has a stop at Wabansia and Damen.

12:37PM - Vicious animal. 1732 N Wood. Two pitbulls tried to take the complaint. The incident occurred at 1805 or 07 N Wolcott. The dogs ran through the alley between Honore and Wolcott.

1:04PM - Disturbance. 1909 N Western. At the Blue Line. Kids throwing firecrackers into the station.

1:31PM - Narcotics. 2330 N Spaulding. Five females smoking marijuana. One of them has a baby in a stroller with them.

1:37PM - Burglar alarm. 2945 N Sawyer. At the Avondale school. Main enterence motion.

1:38PM - 1) Traffic accident. 2512 W North. 2) Residental alarm. 1821 N Marshfield.

1:52PM - The 1:37pm job is coded 14Paul. Janitor says it was probably the wind. I think it was too. The 1:31pm job is coded 19P.

2:08PM - Vicious animal. 2510 N Kedzie. A vicious dog is in the alley.

2:09PM - 1) Alarm. 2215 W McLean. General motion. 2) Alarm. 256X W Fullerton. General motion.

2:11PM - Person down. North and Kedzie. At the gas station, a male is down.

2:13PM - The alarm at 2215 W McLean was set off by the cleaning crew. Officer will code it.

2:16PM - 1821 N Marshfield is now coming in as a "Open door". That's from the previous officer on scene attempting to secure the place.

2:17PM - Fire. 3564 W McLean. The basement was on fire, but CFD came and went.

2:21PM - 1) Parker. 2900 N Whipple. A black vehicle, parked on the curb since 09:00 hours, is a white or black [didn't catch] car. 2) Parker. 3100 N Sawyer. Premits. 3) Disturbance. 1903 N Leavitt. Cab fare dispute.

2:33PM - Beat 1444 is dispersing three for Gang and Narcotics loitering at 2927 W Lyndale. Event number is 10397. Council time is 14:33. Also, she asks for a DOC mission event number. That's 10941.

2:34PM - Beat car 1406King asks for a park check at Unity. Event number is 10958.

2:36PM - Burglar alarm. 2534 N Spaulding. Back door motion.

2:38PM - Disturbance. 2400 W Medill. By the bank parking lot. Three males drinking, loitering and littering.

2:46PM - Parker. 1706 N Campbell. In the alley between Campbell and Maplewood, a Dish network van is blocking it.

2:47PM - Disturbance. Dickens and Damen. Female causing problems.

2:53PM -  Beat 1405 asks for a park check at Haas, then at Holestin. The Haas event number is 11277. Holestin's is 11278.

3:11PM - There was a job in the coverage area, but I forget the details.

3:18PM - Disturbance. 1900 N Califorina. People drinking.

3:38PM - There were two jobs which I didn't catch. Sorry.

3:43PM - Municipal ordinance violation. 2846 N Elston. Woman selling food and candy without a lisence.

3:48PM - Open hydrant. Cortland and St Louis.

3:57PM - Disturbance. Simons Park. Guys blowing off fireworks in the park.

4:07PM - Disturbance. Fairfield and Bloomingdale. First ticket had males harassing passerby. Now they're throwing bottles at passing vehicles.

4:09PM - Disturbance. Wabansia and Claremont. Fireworks are real loud, causing car alarms to go off.

4:10PM - Narcotics. 2418 N Drake. Male Hispanic, black hat, black t-shirt and white checker shorts doing drugs in front.

4:12PM - Battery in progress. Belmont and Albany. Two guys just pulled a guy off the bike and now, the trio is fighting.

4:13PM - Shots fired. 1900 N Franscisco. Two heard.

4:15PM - Another call just came in for 1900 N Franscisco. Two more shots heard.

4:16PM - Beat car 1406Henry is doing a premise check at Cortland and .

4:17PM - 1) . 2) A slow down is being given on the 4:13/4:15pm jobs. Citizens say it's fireworks.

4:18PM - Beat 1421 is doing a park check at Peoples.

4:24PM - Shots fired. Wabansia and Richmond. Three male Blacks shot three times then ran west.

4:40PM - Disturbance. Elston and Wellington.

4:44PM - Beat car 1405 asks for an event number for the Logan Square skateboard park. It's 13367.

5:00PM - Beat 1413 has a traffic stop at Armitage and Central Park.

5:03PM - Beat car 1411 needs a supervisor at the 4:40pm job.

5:19PM - They're calling back on the 9:16am job. It's now a Burglar report.

5:24PM - Domestic disturbance. 2414 N Mozart. Problem with the male partner who is not on scene.

5:30PM - Disturbance. 3123 N Kimball. Landlord VS tenant.

5:33PM - Suspicious vehicle. 2500 N Califorina. Red car with a plate of X8483491 has a female in it, hitting cars with a bat. Going east on Logan Boulevard.

5:35PM - Suspicious vehicle. Wabansia and Paulina. Three male Blacks driving a black Nissan with a plate of H3220037 are threatening people. Going west on Wabansia. Caller says they look like punks.

5:37PM - The 4:40pm job is coded 5Frank.

5:45PM - Burglar report. 2315 W Wabansia.

5:51PM - They're calling back on the 5:30pm job.

6:11PM - Someone's got a traffic stop at Dickens and Avers.

6:16 to 6:35PM - There is supsicious activity on my block. I called 911. There's like 6 guys standing in front and they're suspicious. Dispatch made a comment about that. I'm waiting for the police.

6:35PM - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

7:00PM - I'm back from eating. Also, the police NEVER responded to my call. I'm writing a post about it as we speak.

7:02PM - A unit has a traffic stop at Kimball and Wrightwood.

7:03PM - Traffic accident. Western and St Paul. Two cars, no injures.

7:07 to 7:24PM - I was talking to my mom about the earlier incident.

7:25PM - Shots fired. Cortland and Richmond. Male Black, white sleeveless shirt, fired shots.

7:31PM - Someone's got a traffic stop at Talman and Wabansia.

7:38PM - Burglar alarm. 2642 N Francisco.

7:43PM - Beat 1413 has a traffic stop at Fullerton and Central Park.

7:48PM - Parker. 3138 N Sawyer. Cars that are parked on the block shouldn't be there.
