Good morning, everyone, it's 5:30am. I'll be here mointoring 14 for the next 29 minutes, then I'll head back to bed until 8am, then I'll get back up to mointor 25 for the rest of the day. Anyway, today is supposed to be a cooler day with rain showers and thunderstorms coming in later, so maybe crime might take a small break for the day, hopefully. Here is crime for today.
5:34AM - Traffic accident. Ashland and North. Maroon Escalade involved. Complaint is calling for a supervisor due to what he calls lack of police response (there are no cars up in 14 right now because they're in the middle of their shift change).
5:49AM - All of the 14th district computers are down. Beat 1420Robert, along with a few other units, are taking all reports to 25 to finish.
5:51AM - Assist the PO. Armitage and Wood. Traveling westbound. The complaint, an off duty PO, is doing ... the ticket didn't state at this moment. The car has a plate of 33821L.
5:52AM - 1) The 5:51am complaint is following this car, northbound on Western from Armitage. 2) A backlog is being put into 14 at 05:52 hours.
5:53AM - 1) The 5:51am call is regarding the off duty PO nearly being ran off the road by the vehicle. 2) Traveling northbound at Western and Fullerton.
5:54AM - 1) Information about the 5:51am job is being forwarded to Zone 2 as well. 2) Going northbound on Western from Logan, then westbound from Western on Diversey.
5:55AM - The vehicle is now pulling over at Rockwell and Diversey.

9:33AM - Beat car 2531 is detailed to Mozart Park for something.
9:45 to 10:43AM - I was talking to my sister and lost track of time. Sorry.
10:44AM - Parker. 4011 W Fullerton. Stretch limo.
10:50AM - A unit is doing a park check at Koz.
10:54AM - Beat car 2533 is relieving 2531 since he's got time on the end (which means he gets to go home early today).
11:49AM - Person wanted. 3607 W Fullerton. At Tony's. Male Hispanic, beard, cap and black shirt is wanted for Battery.
12:03PM - Suspicious person. 2455 N Ridgeway. Male with a white t-shirt and shorts keeps lurking around the backyards.
About 12:30PM - There was some sort of traffic accident on the 2900 block of N Lawndale. It was coded, though.
12:58PM - A unit is on scene of a woman overdosing at 3140 N Davlin. Ambulance is needed.
1:23PM - Assist the citizen. 3937 W Altgeld. Someone needs to retrieve belongings from a condo.
1:47PM - Check the well being. 3043 N Monticello. Male on the 1, knocked out, bleeding all over.
2:22PM - Shots fired. Belmont and Lawndale. Two gangbangers, one about 5'9, black doo rag, black shirt and dark pants, and one with a black shirt and jogging pants, are shooting at passing vehicles. In the rain? Wow.
2:23PM - Battery in progress. Fullerton and Pulaski. Three male gangbangers jumping on a guy and his girlfriend.
2:24PM - 1) A slow down is being given on the 2:22pm job. 2) Dispatch just talked to Zone 3's dispatcher, who said there's a car at Belmont and Central Park on an accident. They report hearing nothing.
2:25PM - Beat 2520 is talking to citizens at Belmont and Lawndale who report hearing nothing.
2:44PM - Theft. 2416 N Konster. A couple of males stole the complaint's wallet and threatened them.
3:34PM - 1) Assault. 2834 N Kildare. Complaint was threatened by a male who is in a vehicle down the street with a plate of 8508739. 2) Disturbance. 3129 N Springfield. Male refusing to leave. 3) Traffic accident. 3042 N Milwaukee. Someone hit the parked car.
3:56PM - Beat car 2535 has a handwaver at Armitage and Lawndale.
4:08PM - 1) Disturbance. 2003 N Pulaski. At the gas station. Three males harassing costumers. 2) Disturbance. 2129 N Springfield. Landlord/tenant problems.
4:10PM - What orginally came in as a traffic accident at Davlin and Milwaukee now comes in at Lawndale and Milwaukee, the parties are now wanting to cancel because they exchanged information and will be heading into 25 for the report.
4:24PM - Beat car 2535 codes the 3:56pm handwaver.
5:02PM - Either the 3042 Milwaukee or the 4:10pm were coded and 2523 has an accident at Haussen and Milwaukee.
5:23PM - Disturbance. 2638 N Pulaski. At Public Storage.
5:55PM - Beat car 2524 needs a vitcim report at the 5:23pm job.
6:50PM - Missing person. 3088 N Haussen. The 14 yr old sister, who has mental issues and was just released from the hospital, ran away from home. She has a pink sweater with a monkey on it. She's, I'm assuming, a Hispanic (due to the Spanish name of the complaint).

7:57PM - Burglary in progress. 2983 N Ridgeway. A male Polish and 4 male Hispanics are attempting to break into the business, pushing and turning the knob of the door.
8:01PM - A unit is taking in one from 3819 W Fullerton.
8:38PM - Gang or Tac unit requested for a gang disturbance at Milwaukee and Ridgeway.
9:27PM - 1) Loud music disturbance. Milwaukee and Belmont. Also comes in as 3128 N Davlin. 2) Parker. 4022 W Nelson.
9:28PM - Disturbance. 2400 block of N Hamlin. In the alley between Avers and Hamlin.
9:33PM - Gang disturbance. 3629 W Shakespeare. 8 gangbangers in front, loitering and playing loud music.
10:18PM - Information for the police. 2940 N Avers. Anonymous caused off a couple of guys who were trying to break into an abandoned building. They went towards Wellington.
10:43PM - There was some kind of call at 4000 W Diversey.
11:11PM - Violation order of protection. 4323 W Schubert. The person the complaint has an order against is in the area now.
11:36PM - Person w/ a gun. 2627 N Springfield. Three males pointing what appears to be a gun out of a 2nd floor window.
11:55PM - Vice complaint on 2525's beat.
11:59PM - 1) Battery in progress. 3746 W Diversey. Group fight. Note: I live right by the address and I don't see anything yet. 2) A ticket is saying there's nearly 20 people fighting out in front over there. I have a good mind to call the station to tell them to not send a unit because I live right around the corner and see/hear NOTHING.
