Good evening, everyone. I have breaking news to share. Three people have been shot in the area of Richmond and Armitage. They're all in their late teens. A couple of males were seen fleeing the scene.
6:32PM - Two males are running in the east alley of Humboldt from Armitage. One has on a white t-shirt and another one has on a black hoodie.
6:33PM - Person w/ a gun. Richmond and Armitage. The suspect with the white t-shirt is by the beauty salon, showing a gun.
6:35PM - One person has been shot in the arm, one person has been shot in the leg and one person has been shot in the torso (waist area).
6:45PM - One vitcim is being taken to Children's Memorial by Ambulance 43. Ambulances 20 and 42 are taking two to Illinois Masonic.
6:46PM - Ambulance 42's vitcim is in serious conditon. Ambulances 20 and 43's vitcims are in good conditon.
6:48PM - A unit is blocking westbound traffic off at Armitage and Richmond.
6:49PM - The address for this shooting is 2937 West Armitage.
6:53PM - Beat 1402 advises 1414, the paper car on the shooting, to call Operations Command.
7:20PM - A supervisor, Beat car 1421 and Beat car 1431 will remain at the shooting for a little while. Everyone else, except for 1414 who is heading to a hospital, is clear.
7:28PM - I will no longer be mointoring Zone 3 for tonight. If anybody has a scanner and wants to know anything else regarding this shooting via the radio, tune in and send me an email with what you heard. I will credit it you for any and all info. Also, if anybody witnessed this shooting or has info, please by all means reach me.
