Bulls schedule highlights

Well, the NBA released its 2009-10 schedule on Tuesday and it looks like the Chicago Bulls will tip off their season on Thursday, Oct. 29, when they host the San Antonio Spurs at 7 p.m.  (By the way, all Bulls home games will begin at 7 p.m. this season, half an hour earlier than we're used to.)

K.C. Johnson at the Tribune highlights a few games to keep an eye on, while MyStateLine.com also examines the guts of the schedule.

The Bulls have a new squad this season, not because of additions but because of the subtraction of Ben Gordon, who is now across the lake with the Detroit Pistons.

With Luol Deng (hopefully) back and ready to contribute again, and with the maturation of Derrick Rose, the Bulls look to be in good shape for another playoff run.
