Perry's – The stage that plays host to Lollapalooza's electronic DJs and MCs is unlike any other structure at the festival. A vertical network of black steel tubing dutifully hoists a matrix of thousands of lights towering over the performers at what looks to be three stories tall. The rear display hangs like aligned and distributed Christmas light panels available for big graphics.
The top of the structure culminates in two-tiered concentric circles which form the overall Mad Hatter wedding cake impression. More than 32 rotating lights adorn the top with the ability to swirl and change colors to bathe the unwashed (and in Friday's case, damp) masses with a broad spectrum of pristine colors in lock-step with the beats.
Eight cloth sails ring the upper halo and give the space the feel of your rich neighbor's “outdoor living space.” The designer of the spectacle certainly had a practicality streak, because the surface of the dance floor is largely mulch and wood chips—creating one of the few places to have avoided trench foot during Friday's oppressive drizzle.
The layout and design of this stage is not to be missed and is best enjoyed following a pair of Bud Light Limes. The stage's uniques structure might be liable to take your breath away if the bass didn't thump it out already.

Having mastered English in the preceding 36 hours, this lingual anomaly will now be attempting a feat of journalistic ineptitude mended with naive hopeful wit. More
