The Coolest (and Greenest) Gadget You've Ever Seen

Most solar powered devices really leave something to be desired. In fact, the only ones you probably use on a daily basis are calculators. Have you ever asked yourself why we don't use more of the FREE power that the sun provides us with? I have to, but I think one of the reasons is that solar panels are so god-awfully ugly, that I couldn't bear to be seen with one attached to my iPod or, worse yet, my car. Enter Vivien Muller's frankensolar charger dubbed "Photosynthesis". Part tree, part accessory, this isn't just a beautiful metal sculpture, it is a tree with solar "leaves" that will collect the valuable rays of the sun and turn them into power for a wide array of different peripherals; even your iPod. It suffices to say that this is the ultimate perfect marriage or form, function, and efficiency. No word yet on whether this gorgeous  gadget will ever go on sale, but I sure have my finge....err...cables, crossed. Hit the jumps for more info and more examples of Vivien's beautiful work.

Wow. That is really cool. That's the future of energy right there. It's just the beginning.

Agreed. It's gotta look cool for me to use it!
